Festivals Commission Unveils Queen of Carnival Sizzling Six

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Friday 3rd May 2019 (St. John's, Antigua)...... In front of a small audience on Thursday 2nd May, the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) unveiled the six stunning ladies, who will vie for the coveted title of Miss Antigua Queen of Carnival 2019.

The sizzling six delegates are Miss Sania Paul, Miss Azariah Moore, Miss Maurisa Carbon, Miss Shannakisha Francis, Miss Francesca Southwell and Miss Rudelle Morrison. This year, the long-awaited Miss Antigua Queen of Carnival pageant returns during the Antigua Carnival festivities on Friday 26th July at Carnival City.

The show will comprise of seven judged segments, which include Cultural Wear; Public Speaking; Swimwear; Performing Talent; Costume; Evening Wear and Interview. Director of National Festivals and former Queen of Carnival, Mrs Petley O'keiffe-Knight expressed, "We are expecting a wonderful production on Friday 26th.

This year's delegates have great personalities, intelligence and beauty capped with an additional flare of excellence, which I am confident will be transferred to the Miss Antigua Queen of Carnival competition".
